Atavia Barnes is a Human Resources Professional with thorough knowledge of all components of human resources as well as being well versed in all functions. She has extensive years of experience in Human Resources and payroll. Atavia’s career thus far consists of, but not limited to the industry of healthcare, and hospitality. Her experience includes human resources support, benefits and compensation administration, payroll, employee relations, development organization and recruitment.

Key Achievements include: Assisted in the grand opening of a new healthcare facility, Harnett Health System. Atavia played a key role during the expansion of the organization; she handled the increased level of responsibility with excellence. She developed, implemented, and maintained the electronic employee benefit portal. She played a key role in transitioning the organization to a new major medical provider as well as implementation of the system wide wellness program and the implementation of the healthcare reform changes (exchange/marketplace) in the organization.
